Cholera's Background information
In 1817, the first case record of Cholera was discovered. It first record in Europe by Doctor John Snow. The rate for people getting cholera is 3 to 5 million and the number of deaths for this virus is 100,000 people per year. Cholera can cause you to lose up to 5 gallons of fluids a day when infected. Some scientists think that Cholera might have lived 50,000 years ago. Usually the virus lives waters that are in areas affected by Poor Sanitation, war or famines. Use Africa or Latin America as an Example. Cholera could also live in raw meats or in feces.The world health organization estate that during any cholera epidemic, approximately 0.2 percent of local population will contract the disease.
